Angelo Esposito was singed to a tryout contract with the Wolves, but was held scoreless in one game and subsequently released. Esposito was the first round choice of the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft, but was traded to the Atlanta Thrashers at the trade deadline in the Marian Hossa deal.
