"The investigation into what happened at a Baton Rouge bar a week ago appears to be over now, and the Baton Rouge police are ready to make a couple of arrests. On Friday morning arrest warrants were issued for LSU quarterback Jordan Jefferson and linebacker Josh Johns. Both players will be charged with second-degree battery, which is a felony charge (CBS Sports)."
I have always liked LSU, but they seem to get into these kind of situations a lot. Maybe not as much as the U, but they like to make headlines. I have been sticking up for Jefferson for years, but the bottom line he is a failure. I thought he was going to be so good, and it just never worked out.
The report on this goes on to say Jefferson was kicking some guy in the head, but there was also another report from the owner of the bar that says the other guy (who the LSU players were fighting) punched him first. I am not going to pretend I have any idea what happened, but this doesn't sound very good for LSU. Then again, it's probably time to move on from Jefferson anyways.
