2011 NFL Preview: Cincinnati Bengals

2010 Record: 4-12

Offense:

This team was 31st in offense last year, and they have lost Ochocinco, Owens, and Carson Palmer. Yea, it's going to be another long year in Cincinnati and they fucking deserve it (more on that later). Not only do the Bengals have to deal with fitting in a new QB, WRs, and offensive coordinator but they have to do it during the year of the lockout. One player who did return is tailback Cedric Benson, but he is a dipshit and without anyone throwing the ball won't do shit. A.J. Green will be good, and I really did like that draft pick, but WRs can take some time and without a top notch QB and having to deal with a offensive line that let up 28 sacks last year things are going to be tough. Gradkowski and Dalton will try to be the QB, but whatever it won't matter.

Defense:

Rey Maualuga is moving to MLB this year, and hopefully that will get him going after a disappointing 2010 season. The Bengals actually do have a lot of young talent on this side of the ball. Along with Maualuga they have defensive lineman Michael Johnson and Carlos Dunlap. Dunlap is coming off a season in which he had 9.5 sacks, and he could be even better this year. They also signed Nate Clements, who is getting older, but is still decent. Overall this isn't a great defense, but it's better then they will get credit for.

Overall:

Fuck this team, and it's owner. They don't spend money, they are a joke and now they will pay for it (even more then usual). No QB, no offensive line and a defense that will get exposed because it will be on the field way too much.

2011 Record: 2-14
