"Former NFL defensive end Hugh Douglas did not hold back when criticizing Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio for his handling of the team's quarterback situation and alleged lack of trustworthiness. "If there was ever a head coach that needs to be punched in the face for not being truthful to his players, it has to be Jack Del Rio," Douglas said (WEEI)."
Ok, so he isn't a current player, but I bet there are a lot of people who feel the way he does in that locker room. I am not a Garrard fan at all, but I thought they would at least let him play the early games this year while they got their rookie QB (Blaine Gabbert) used to their system. I mean Garrard was there for a long time, and I found it odd to just throw him out. Maybe there was a lot of talk in the locker room of them not liking the changing of the guard and this made it easier on the rookie.
Whatever the reason, Jack Del Rio shouldn't have a job. How they won 8 games last year is beyond me. Trust me they won't be doing that again this year.
Then again, Jacksonville shouldn't even have a team, so maybe it's fitting they have a coach that should be coaching.
